We offer four adventure days to enhance your vacation in La Paz. If you're coming to Baja you simply must get out on the water and there is no better way than by kayak to discover the spectacular Gulf of California. If you've not kayaked before.....great! You'll find our guides entertaining and excellent at patiently explaining exactly what you need to know. If you've kayaked before then you'll already know the beauty of slipping through the water barely leaving a ripple in your wake, nosing in and out of tight little spots and the close encounters with the abundant wildlife. You'll see sea lions, perhaps manta rays jumping and dolphins too. There are Great Blue Herons, Pelicans, Frigates, Ospreys and you may be lucky to see Blue Footed Boobies. Then there is the mirage of colour beneath the surface, a spectacular display of colour and shapes, suffice to say the Gulf of California has the most diverse marinelife in the world!.

An exciting introduction to sea kayaking and a wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon while visiting La Paz. Your guide will introduce you to all the basics and you will then embark on a relaxing paddle exploring Seagull, Sea Lion and Deception Islands. During the trip we will stop to snorkel at a great spot noted for its huge variety of colorful tropical fish. After a refreshing ice cold drink we will meander on around the islands and back to the beach. Our trip price includes all kayaking and snorkeling gear, guide, refreshments and transport to and from La Paz.

A full day allows you more time to explore this pristine area between Pichilingue and Tecolote. We paddle further up the coast arriving in the magnificent Balandra Bay. Here the water is just like a swimming pool, turquoise blue, and no less than 7 soft, white, sandy beaches fringe the bay. Deep red volcanic mountains towering in the background complete this extraordinarily beautiful 'picture'. We will select our own beach and relax with a delicious picnic lunch and ice cold drinks. In the afternoon we will continue our paddle stopping several times to snorkel ~ we'll introduce you to a secret spot; a small cave where only kayaks can beach and a wonderful snorkel amongst huge volcanic boulders several of which form underwater sumps that you can swim right through! Price includes: guide, all kayaking and snorkeling equipment, lunch and refreshments.

SEA LION EXTRAVAGANZA

A motor boat visit to the famous Sea Lion colony at 'Los Islotes in Isla Espiritu Santo'. These sea-lions are so used to humans that they jump into the water just to go people watching!
